Teacher Self-Care 101
The amount of personal time a teacher will get on the average school day is truly few and far between. Though it is one of the most consuming occupations, it can also be one of the most rewarding. That said, it’s extremely frequent to see teachers losing sight of their health throughout their journey. In an effort to avoid this from consistently happening, more and more teachers are practicing self-care. As in, practicing both small and large-scale habits, in attempts to let go of the stress they endure on a daily basis. As teaching in particular is primarily focused on expending energy others, it’s important that these professionals be taking that same time and focusing on themselves.
