When your family moves to Bangkok, other than finding somewhere to live and a job, one of the most vital things you need to do is find a suitable kindergarten for your child. Whether you prefer an Australian, American, Swiss, or British kindergarten, Bangkok has lots of options available, so you will need to do plenty of research to find the best school for your child. Below are some tips and advice to help you find a suitable kindergarten for your child that will help ensure they get a fantastic start in life and receive a quality education.
The Location Of Your Home
Whether you live in a condo or a house, the location of your home is a vital factor when looking at schools in Bangkok. You will want to ensure that your home is not too far away from the school you will send your child to, which can help reduce their daily commute. Getting around Bangkok can be slow work, made worse when it is raining, so it is best not to have too far to travel each day. However, if you live close to the BTS or MRT transport systems, you can select a school with easy access to these, making getting to and from school each day much more manageable.
Consider The School Fees
When looking at the various schools you can send your child to in Bangkok, you will notice that the fees can differ quite drastically. You will need to ensure that you select a school you can afford, and keep in mind that the school fees will increase every year. If you have more than one child and they will be attending the same school, you can often get a discount on the school fees, so it is worth exploring.
Visit The Campus During School Hours
You will want to visit the various schools you are considering sending your child to, and you will want to do this during school hours. You can then see how the children and teachers behave as you have a tour of the school and better understand how they operate. It can help you identify which school you think is best for your child and ensure you make the best choice for their future.
Take your time when selecting the school for your child, and you can ensure that you give them the best start in life possible by providing them with a quality education.
