Here Are Things You Should Know Before Applying For JEE 2022
JEE is one of the most anticipated entrance exams in the country. - Where will I find the application form?
On its official website, the authorities will release the application form for JEE Mains 2022. The form can be submitted online. Check if you are eligible for the test by going through the entire list of eligibility criteria.
Prepare a scanned image of your photograph and signature. Complete the online payment form by selecting Debit card/Credit card/Net banking etc. options and follow the instructions to make your payment. Submit your 12th Admit Card/HSC Marksheet/Certificate. Finally, print out the confirmation for future reference. As the test must be attempted before the deadline, make sure you do it ahead of time.
- Is the test conducted online or offline?
From 2018-19, JEE Mains tests are conducted in the computer-based mode. Drawings will be conducted in pen and paper format for Main paper II. The exam will be held twice a year in January and April 2022.
- How many papers are there in JEE Mains?
The entrance exams consist of two papers- Paper I for B.Tech admissions and Paper II for B.Arch admissions. For each section of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, there are 20 objectives and 5 numerical questions. Paper-II includes 77 and 100 questions from Mathematics and Aptitude, as well as 2 questions from subjective drawing for B. Architecture. Each question paper is 3 hours long and the maximum marks for Paper-I are 300 whereas it is 400 for Paper-II with the drawing section holding 70 marks. It is primarily a computer-based test, leaving only the drawing test as an exception. - What languages is the entrance test available in?

- Is the Aadhar Card mandatory?
According to the NTA, the Aadhar card is not mandatory. Thus, any government identification number, such as a Voter ID, Passport, Driver’s License, or Pan Card, can be used for registration.
- Is it mandatory to apply for all sessions simultaneously?
Registration is open for each session separately too. However, you are allowed to appear in all sessions simultaneously.
- Am I eligible for IIT JEE Mains?
Applicants should have passed in 12 in 2020, 2021, or be planning on taking the class 12th exam in 2022. There is no age limit.
- What is the cutoff for JEE Mains 2022?
In the cutoff for Mains 2022, the minimum marks required for admission into colleges accepting JEE Mains scores will be listed. Only candidates who fulfill this requirement may apply. Admissions cutoffs and qualifying cutoffs will be released by the authorities.
