Location and schedules are the two main considerations that must be taken into account for your child. Tuition centres have fix classes with allocated time slots that your child would have to follow. This effectively means that you would have to adhere to the tuition timing too. You would also have to send your child to the tuition centres if the location is not within walking distance of your home. This arrangement may not be convenient for all families as it is inflexible. However, for private tutors, they can schedule to fit into your timing and customise which days to provide the tuition.

If having individual focus is a priority concern then a private tutor would be more appealing when sending your child for tuition. Specialised lesson plans can be used for students who have been excelling in their studies but weak in a particular area too.
